knowing computer model and serial number

Sometime you want to know the model number and serial number of built up computer such as HP, Dell, IBM, and others in order to download the correct driver for them. The simple way to know that is just by a simple DOS commands. The following steps will guide you to get them:

1. Open a command prompt, and type "wmic bios get serialnumber" (without quotes) to get the serial number of your built up computer
2. Type in command prompt "wmic csproduct get name" (without quotes) to get the model number and name of the computer.
